In Chinese, “knot” means reunion, friendliness, peace, warmth, marriage, loe, etc. Chinese knots are often used to express good wishes, including happiness, prosperity, loe and the absence of eil ★ Chinese Painting Painting in the traditional style is known today in Chinese as guó huà 国画, meaning 'national' or 'natie painting', as opposed to Western styles of art which became popular in China in the 20th century.Traditional painting inoles essentially the same techniques as calligraphy and is done with a brush dipped in black or colored ink; oils are not used. As with calligraphy, the most popular materials on which paintings are made of are paper and silk. ★ Calligraphy Chinese calligraphy (Brush calligraphy) is an art unique to Asian cultures. It contains series of actions and many single action to fit kick, strike, tumble,hold, fall, cleae…together in some certain rules. ★ Taiji Taiji 太極 (literally "great ridgepole") is a Chinese cosmological term for the "Supreme Ultimate" state of undifferentiated absolute and infinite potentiality, contrasted with the Wuji 無極 "Without Ultimate".
